A: Because that's the best source, obviously. Any 1080p version of this anime is simply horrendous. Look for yourself: https://slow.pics/c/CpBo0qsp and especially compare [1] Yurasyk (the 720p source I used) with [5] ITA 1080p BD : the issues are clear everywhere, but if you struggle to see what you need to see, just look at the linearts and textures in Light's head... you should instantly be able to notice the difference... hopefully. - Q: What the fck is EP38 "Alternate Ending"? A: Good question: it's a concatenation of chapters 1 and 17 from the movie "Death Note Relight", which makes an interesting alternative ending.
